S1 EP4: We're Technically Roommates
Shownotes & links for episode 4. Out now!
Whatsup Milkduds,
This episode was recorded in October as a follow up to our first episode in a recording studio with one another in real life. A lot has changed since then: Lana got a new new job to support our family, and Montana has been taking writing classes and rediscovering a love for tennis. Of course, some things never change like a deep and unwavering love for Andrew Hozier-Byrne, Harry Potter fanfiction, and each other. (She’s obsessed with me).
If you’ve liked the journey so far, rate & review us on Spotify/Apple Podcasts or drop us a like, a comment or a share on socials! We love to see you following along. As always, our DMs and inbox are open for your playlist titles from the week, and we will share our favorites at the end of the next episode.
We’ve got some exciting updates
We’ve got microphones!
We now know how to edit much quicker, so hopefully we can start putting out monthly episodes. Who are we?
We’ve got a book club! This month’s pick is In Memoriam by Alice Winn, the artist formerly known as @gallplacidia
Lana: Noah Kahan Knows What He’s Doing
Noah Kahan has never done a thing by accident. Every feeling you feel when he warbles his tunes into your ears is well thought out and meticulously crafted to make you remember everything you’ve ever tried to forget and have it hit you in the face all over again. The man’s an evil genius, I’m telling you.
Montana: Gut Depression and To Do Lists
I saw a Tumblr post today that encapsulates this playlist. I have no notes.

Hozier References:
Hozier’s Collected Poetry' Readings (shoutout Beth)
Talking to Hozier About God and Milkshakes:
Montana feels about Brittany Broski as Lana feels about Amelia Dimoldenberg (badly). We couldn’t bring ourselves to watch this bc we are purists.

As we get into the swing of this little project, we are excited to share that we hope it gets a bit bigger in the coming year as we fine tune audio, content, and...GUESTS! In the meantime, we have a few previously unreleased episodes that we will be sharing as bonus content in the coming weeks.
Our next episode is all about the things we’ve done alone recently and how it feels to date yourself. Stay tuned for that in April.
We’ve got a little book club! This month’s pick is Alice Winn’s “In Memoriam.” We will be posting weekly discussion questions on Saturdays. Hop in at any time.
